My name is Dawn King (pronounced Dawwwwn like the native New Yorker I am!) and I teach middle school students with disabilities.  I'm also a faculty member of a local university where I teach special education courses. I'm a happy wife and mom who serves at a local church and as a hospice volunteer during the summer.  I love the process of learning, serving, communicating with others, and sharing information.  HubPages is the perfect forum to do all of that.  It's like inviting the global community to sit at my kitchen table to visit, be enlightened, educated, chat, and eat (yes, I have recipes to share, too) without ever leaving home.  If you'd like to share your views or info, you should join hub pages.  Enjoy!
